Workplace Swim Assessments

Our assessors will test your ability to travel safely and efficiently through the water as per your employer swim test criteria.

Cost: $11.00 at the time of booking. This covers pool entry, assessment, and certificate. This fee covers one attempt; additional attempts will require another payment.

On the day of the test, you will need:

Identification: Bring your driver's license or another form of photo ID.
Assessment Instructions: Have a printed copy of your employer's specific assessment instructions and forms, such as:
- NSW Police Force Aquatic Rescue Sequence Instructions & Certificate of Aquatic Rescue Proficiency
- Cabin Crew Water Competency Assessment Form
- Sydney Ferries Water Competency Assessment Form
- Letter of Swim Competency - General letter provided by Waves.
Clothing (if required): Wear light-weight pants and a short-sleeved shirt for the test.

The test will typically be conducted in a heated outdoor 50-metre swimming pool unless specified otherwise.
