Workplace Swim Assessments

Our assessors will test your ability to travel safely and efficiently through the water as per your employer swim test criteria. 

Cost: $11.00 at the time of booking. This covers pool entry, assessment, and certificate. This fee covers one attempt; additional attempts will require another payment.

How to book:

2. Select to book a session
3. Log in to your account or sign up if you do not have one
4. Proceed to cart and make payment.

On the day of the test, you will need:

1. Identification: Bring your driver's license or another form of photo ID.
2. Assessment Instructions: Have a printed copy of your employer's specific assessment instructions and forms, such as:
   • NSW Police Force Aquatic Rescue Sequence Instructions & Certificate of Aquatic Rescue Proficiency
   • Cabin Crew Water Competency Assessment Form
   • Sydney Ferries Water Competency Assessment Form
   • Letter of Swim Competency - General letter provided by Waves.  
3. Clothing (if required): Wear light-weight pants and a short-sleeved shirt for the test.

The test will typically be conducted in a heated outdoor 50-metre swimming pool unless specified otherwise.
