Hearing Loop
A hearing loop is a sound system that transmits sound directly into hearing aids or cochlear implants through a magnetic field. It consists of a loop of wire that generates a magnetic signal that is picked up by the hearing device when it is set to ‘T’ (Telecoil) setting. A hearing loop can help people with hearing loss to hear more clearly in places where there is background noise or poor acoustics.
